In July 2022, I had the opportunity to photograph the Formula E 2022 London ePrix for Spacesuit Media Ltd, commissioned by FIA Formula E. My mission was to capture the energy of the event, including unique events such as the 'Electric Hot Laps' and VIP clubs like the 'Boss Emotion Club,' as well as the race weekend’s overall atmosphere.
As a professional motorsport photographer, this was one of the most challenging assignments I've ever taken on. The tight timeframes and complex logistics required careful planning and coordination, not to mention the post-production work. I almost had to be in 6 places at once to fulfil the brief, however, I'm proud of the result: a collection of images that showcase the excitement and unique character of the Formula E 2022 London ePrix that I’m proud to share.
